What better thing to do with an old car dealership than transform it into an incredible family entertainment centre. Pinopolis opened in Llanelli in April this year bringing a fantastic line up of games and activities to thrill every member of the family.
Pinpolis is all about community. They have worked hard to create a venue where everyone will want to come and hang out, where everyone is welcome, the place for your celebrations, events and occasions. As well as hosting children’s parties they regularly have all-age live music events, special offers and sporting events shown live on large TV screens.
At the heart of Pinopolis sit four lanes of interactive Spark bowling. These lanes offer a completely original bowling experience, especially as Pinopolis are the first centre in Wales to showcase them. Spark bring the lanes to life through high quality projections which interact with the ball. Coupled with games offered as part of the Sync scoring system, on Spark lanes you can gain extra points by bowling over targets illuminated on the lanes, watch your ball chased down by a vibrant character or enjoy your selfies dancing on the surface.
Our team thoroughly enjoyed working at Pinopolis. Their enthusiastic team, passionate owners and creative vision made the experience very rewarding. It was exciting to see it all come together.
We asked Owner, David Edwards about his experience of working with Bowling Vision. This is what he said:
As well as Spark Bowling guests can enjoy augmented reality darts, UV pool, an arcade and a soft play area. If you’ve not tried AR darts before then you’re in for a treat! AR darts is best played in groups, competing against each other in a range of darts-based games. The board sits within a screen onto which the dynamic gaming graphics and game play action is projected. There is a range of games to choose from including Killer, Bullseye, Disco Wall and Lives – the latest release where you have to beat the score of the previous player.
Pinopolis is run by hospitality entrepreneurs David and Georgia Edwards who previously operated The Play King soft play. Pinopolis has an urban vibe, thanks to its industrial ceiling, wooden furnishings and panelling. However, there are pops of neon throughout the venue adding to the party feel.
Guests can enjoy quality food and drink whilst at Pinopolis. As well as a fully licensed bar serving everything from coffee to cocktails, you can indulge with street food served by Lil Mo’s. Their Sunday roast is heavenly and very popular!
The socials are awash with very positive comments like “My first and certainly not my last visit to Pinopolis today. Food 10/10, Bowling 10/10, Cleanliness 10/10”. So, it’s definitely worth a visit.
